4 star ratingThe old brewhouse is fascinating because it's just been left as it was when the last brewer retired and the pub's beers are now made elsewhere in the area. For a really good selection of beers and ciders there's nowhere better locally and it's good fun just reading the labels.

5 star ratingRecommend to pop into the brewery by the village tea rooms. Great history and the chap was very helpful and full of information. Steep steps to upstairs where you can see the original machinery. Variety of different unusual ales on offer and buy 4 local ales and gift box is free. Ideal Xmas gifts at this time of year. Well worth a visit

5 star ratingMy cousins always enjoy visiting the brewhouse and enjoy sampling the specialist ales found here.
They make a beeline for the stronger bitters and dark ales. There is also a good selection of gifts ready for the festivecseadon.

5 star ratingThey have a huge selection of beers here, the staff were very friendly and they have the original steam-powered machinery used in making beers up to the mid 1900's. Its a shop almost housed in an beer museum with a big car park... and its at the back of an excellent country pub with local beers on the engines and excellent food. Worth a trip for all these reasons.

5 star ratingI've been here a few times now since discovering this little gem of a place and cannot fault anything. Matt knows his stuff and is always welcoming and friendly. I took advantage of the delivery service and was really impressed at how quick it was to arrive....I was expecting 2 to 3 days but arrived the next day! Very happy with this!
