5 star ratingThey have a huge selection of beers here, the staff were very friendly and they have the original steam-powered machinery used in making beers up to the mid 1900's. Its a shop almost housed in an beer museum with a big car park... and its at the back of an excellent country pub with local beers on the engines and excellent food. Worth a trip for all these reasons.

5 star ratingthis is the one place we go to stock uo on all our beers and ciders for christmas. Its best approached from the carpark at the rear of the pub and that way you dont have to go too far to carry them. often doing reasonable reductions for 6 or more. Well worth a visit

  • 5 star ratingI've been here a few times now since discovering this little gem of a place and cannot fault anything. Matt knows his stuff and is always welcoming and friendly. I took advantage of the delivery service and was really impressed at how quick it was to arrive....I was expecting 2 to 3 days but arrived the next day! Very happy with this!

Superb beer. Real character building with local history.

Even has a working steam engine.

Lots of bottle beers to choose from, 3 local beers to take away from the barrel.

Usually 3 beers to choose from the barrels. Liberation being my favourite. I wish I could drink it all the time!
