Welcome to the Southwick Brewhouse
The Southwick Brewhouse is a fascinating example of a Victorian domestic brewery, a rare survival of a once common establishment. Home to an extensive range of beer, cider, gin, fruit wines, mead and many other boozy delights. Situated in the yard at the back of the Golden Lion pub in the sleepy village of Southwick. It's history can be traced from the early 17th century.
We stopped at the brew house to do some Christmas shopping for family. The staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of choices of beer and cider. If your looking for something different this is the place to go.Michelle L
What a wonderful setting this is to find your beer. Nestled behind Portsdown Hill on the B2177 towards the Meon Valley, this quaint historic Brewhouse has a huge range of craft beers to take away.
The trip upstairs to see Old Dick's brewery from before the 2nd World War. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Prices were good and the beer even better when sampled at home later.Southwickfans

Recommend to pop into the brewery by the village tea rooms. Great history and the chap was very helpful and full of information. Steep steps to upstairs where you can see the original machinery. Variety of different unusual ales on offer and buy 4 local ales and gift box is free. Ideal Xmas gifts at this time of year. Well worth a visitknott101

We pop in for ale, cider and stout about 5 times a year. Always fill up one or two of the cardboard carriers.
They send out regular email updates of new offerings.
The communication and service is always great and well worth experiencing as well as the fab selection of thirst quenchersDinnerhall
The old brewhouse is fascinating because it's just been left as it was when the last brewer retired and the pub's beers are now made elsewhere in the area. For a really good selection of beers and ciders there's nowhere better locally and it's good fun just reading the labels.madamemerlot
Great little shop, a decent selection of local craft beer, very reasonably priced too. Staff are always friendly and polite.
