What a wonderful setting this is to find your beer. Nestled behind Portsdown Hill on the B2177 towards the Meon Valley, this quaint historic Brewhouse has a huge range of craft beers to take away.
The trip upstairs to see Old Dick's brewery from before the 2nd World War. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Prices were good and the beer even better when sampled at home later.Southwickfans
Superb beer. Real character building with local history.
Even has a working steam engine.
Lots of bottle beers to choose from, 3 local beers to take away from the barrel.
Usually 3 beers to choose from the barrels. Liberation being my favourite. I wish I could drink it all the time!Ian Moore
So much choice of great local beer, most of which I didn't even know existed!
Definitely recommend going here and taking a look around.Nathan Paddick
Matt went out of his way to replace a box of beer that had been damaged in transit and far exceeded what is considered excellent customer service. I thoroughly recommend Southwick Brewhouse and will definitely be using them again.Andrew Small
My cousins always enjoy visiting the brewhouse and enjoy sampling the specialist ales found here.
They make a beeline for the stronger bitters and dark ales. There is also a good selection of gifts ready for the festivecseadon.Patricia W
The Southwick Brewhouse is a gem for south coast beer lovers (as well as those who enjoy ales, meads, wines, and ciders too!). The selection available from local and national breweries of all sizes is second to none. The service is exceptional. The pricing is very good. This is exactly the type of small independent business that breweries and consumers alike should be supporting so that it can survive in these uncertain times.Easy_506
This a review of the brewhouse not the pub as i haven't been in yet. Nice cask beer off licence to take home, normally 4 or 5 different ones and free samples. Lots of cyders in bottles and boxes and bottled/canned beers to try. Staff really friendly too.Nick
Recommend to pop into the brewery by the village tea rooms. Great history and the chap was very helpful and full of information. Steep steps to upstairs where you can see the original machinery. Variety of different unusual ales on offer and buy 4 local ales and gift box is free. Ideal Xmas gifts at this time of year. Well worth a visitknott101
